My facebook status today is: "I love my life". The mud that is strung all across my kitchen floor, through the doorway to the living room and up the stairs reminds me of when all five boys were living at home! Muddy days were close to the hardest days for me. And now they are wonderful memories!! Luckily for Wil and Tom they can track mud in all they want!! I don't care about muddy floors, mud on my britches, or even caked on my car and that I might add is a good life!! When we can let go of things that just don't matter there is a heck of a lot more room for the things that do. I'm lucky I've been raising kids for 25 years, soon to be 26. I just get better and better at it! Yes, I am tired!! But, not bored and an amazing reason to keep on, keeping on!! Couple of things Wil and Tom said this week. William said our reason to be on earth is to produce and he said I have done a fine job at it and that I have lead a good life! Yep!! That is Willie!! Tom said this week that people don't STOP and look around. They go to fast, just look at that moon mom! I seriously feel like it has taken my entire family to produce those two, deep philosophical, children! Wil and Tom have learned from their big brothers, Brad, Matt and Zane and even their sister Amanda. They have learned an amazing amount from all of my husband and I's ex's and even from my husband and I's bullheadedness. Did you know that bullheadedness is one word? wowweee. I did not!! Well, I am off to enjoy my rest before I go to work! Can't wait until the grass is green and the sun is shining!! : )

I always look at the piles of books, clothes, and yes muddy floors as the "evidence" of my kids presence in my life. Some days they drive me crazy....but I know I will miss them even more when they are grown. I love reading about your life....you have lots of enthusiasm! (some things never change....) ; )
